If the Position of the billet is changed - the popup appears:

Correct current record — change the last entry to the position, which should display now, but do not change any dates.

Add to history — add a new history entry with the new position and the current date.

If a person's qualification changes, update it only for the current history entry.

When a ship or position changes (previously we recorded the transition as a new history record), we now have two options:

Add: default behavior — create a new history record and adjust existing ones
Correct: update the current history entry

Datein cannot be changed to a past date if a person is assigned after that date (excluding the current assignment).

If we allow changing dates to the past, consider the following:

Billets link to the Personnel Scheduler, so changing Datein will alter their scheduler scope and may crop existing events. We need policies to handle those events.
